The buzzing life of the road with vehicles and people going about the daily business has been no hindrance to the fitness enthusiasts in Yaba who run the road mostly over the weekend. Murtala Muhammed Way measures about 3.5KM so you can walk or run this length and make a turn into Alagomeji then head up the Herbert Macaulay Way for a change and back. Just be careful due to the moving vehicles along the road.

UNILAG SPORTS CENTRE
So besides being the silicon valley of Lagos, Yaba also has two universities and one of them is UNILAG. The UNILAG Sports Centre can be found inside school which consists of a basketball court, football pitch and track field. You can also workout with the Truppr UNILAG fitfam every Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.

CRAWFORD SWIMMING SCHOOL
For those of you that love to take a dive, just a 1,500 Naira at Crawford swimming school located in Onike, Yaba provides you with a clean swimming pool and also a lifeguard.

Rowe Park, Yaba established in the 1960s for the sole purpose of recreation which has seen a sharp increase in fitness activities since it was first commissioned is where the training and sweating are done. So if you’re ever in the neighbourhood make sure to visit.
